Countdown

In a week the exams will be of my study.. Really NOT looking forward for it. So I'm studying my feet of. Really hoping that I will make it. I'm a bit scared that I wont make the first year, because of all the moving, and trouble with our previous 'landlady'.
I'm trying to post as much as I can, but I'm really busy at the moment..

Gone for way too long

So.. here I am again, after almost 2 weeks. I was just so busy for my school, almost didn't had time for my social life. And even not for my blogging. I really missed it a lot.

I already made some outfit shots. Also got some older ones which I didn't had time for to post. I will post those pictures tomorrow.

The reason why I'm posting already is because I came on fashion156 and spotted Cecile Sinclair, she became Hollands next topmodel this year. I thought it was great to see her there, that she is going international that fast. I'm hopping that she will be successful in it too.






In my opinion she is the best winner ever on HntM. Her cool attitude brings her on that Dutch level, she is just herself. And she is social too. I love her hair by the way. Red head !! Just great. Her battle was between 2 short haired girls. The blonde and the brunette. But off course the red one won!

Strike

Today I had to go to school by train because the busses are not riding. The drivers are in a strike. Because of the low payments. I think its good and that the government should give them a higher salary. They are working way to hard for too less money. 

The way back home a friend drove me home! How sweet of him. So I didn't had to rush to the train and I didn't had to walk home.. Lazy me.

When I entered the living room I got excited again, because its way more decorated than a few days ago. Today I want to unpack some few more things.

I also got in my wardrobe room some hooks to hang up my bags! It looks oh so cool! Not al the bags are hanging yet because some are still packed. But when its done I will take some pictures of it.

I decided to wear my high waist jeans for today with my new red shoes. For the boost I did on some orange lipstick. I love the contrast of it. I tried to make a sweet but also a rocking look.

I noticed the great haircuts of the streetstyle outfits. Its a bit monroe and audrey like. Love the first picture the girl took her outfit to the same level as monroe.

The second is a kind of mix of the both. 

And the last I love the combination of the hair and glasses she is wearing. I only think the blouse and shoes don't work with the concept..

Still enjoying the GREAT weather until Thursday  and then it will get a bit colder again, which is sadly totally normal here in Holland.. 

I bought this dress like more then a year ago and only wore it twice until now. I really don't know why.. because its a cute dress I think. I had to find my own style in it maybe. But I will wear it more this summer!

I ordered some lovely accessories from the urban collection a few days ago, I'm already so excited for it. Can't wait till I get them. For now I have to slow down a bit with my shopping because I have to save money for some new furniture. Hopefully I will succeed ;)

Refreshing

The last 2 days me and my boyfriend had been busy with laminating. Pff we worked really hard. And the results may be there! In my blog under this one "red beauty" you can see the before of our living room with the UGLY carpet we had. Im so glad that we've got rid of that. It got so beautiful in our home. Because of the big living room we have to buy more furniture. But that will be alright ;). We still got to do a lot of unpacking stuff.. Really not looking forward to do that.. 

Today was my 'rest' day, we only painted our study desk in silver! really nice! After that we went to sonsbeek park, to chill and lay in the sun. Now back home again it felt really like coming home. I really love this new place..

I wore my new kaftan. Its from great materials and love the fine fabric of it. The sleeves are great too! I wore my Buddha necklace with it and a bag in the same cultural feeling.

I've got the cutest shoes since last week. There red suede with a fine heel. I love the straps and the fit me well! Really cute under a lovely dress.

I love to wake up at my new home. I hear the birds singing there own song and the sun is shining. One of our neighbors has all kind of birds in his garden. Just lovely!

Today and yesterday I'm wearing the same outfit. I wanted to wear something in which I could feel myself like a summer breeze. The skirt I'm wearing is just beautiful. I love the floating fabric of it. Just a great piece for the summer. I wearing it in my waist with the red woven belt. Just added some basics to it and then I was ready for the day. I'm wearing my wooden heals under it. I bought it like a year ago on a market for only 50 cents! The woman at the stand, said it was enough.. So a great buy for me ;) 

The thing I'm standing up is like an great mantelpiece in the living room. Its just great! Such a seventies thing. The flowers are nice too, I've got them from my mom and dad when my boyfriend and I came into this house. 

This weekend we will be busy with laminating the living room. It will be a great progress. After that we can clean al the mess away and start decorating the place.

The stairs outside are from our balcony. We can't enter it jet because the door is stuck.

Lovely weather again for our Dutch little country. I really enjoy it ;)

Today I went to school again, didn't do much there. After school I went to sonsbeek our beautiful park an lay there in the sun for a while. After relaxing I went back home, cooked myself a dinner and went to my work. Really wasn't busy there. For the ones who don't know: I'm working at the Ohra Bank. All about banking stuff, I'm calling people who are interested in our products. For making an offer or something like that.  Sounds like a pro, doesn't it? haha. Its my part-time job besides my study. 

Todays outfit I tried to combine basics and same colors in one outfit. I bought myself the new legging yesterday. I just wanted to have some white ones for the summer. I also bought a basic tank top and another pair of the coral ones I already have. See my previous outfits 1#, 2#.
